I am an applied mathematician working in mathematical biology. Currently, I am an assistant professor of mathematics in the School of Liberal Arts and Sciences at Nevada State College. Before that, I was an assistant professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at California State University, Chico. Prior to becoming a professor, I was a research associate in Dr. Karen C. Abbott's theoretical ecology lab in the Department of Biology at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland. In 2013, I earned my Ph.D. in mathematics at the University of Nebraska, where I was advised by Dr. J. David Logan and Dr. Chad E. Brassil.
